Children & Families

We’re passionate about seeing lives of all ages transformed by Jesus. So as well as meeting as church together, we want parents to feel equipped during the week to make home a place that nurtures and develops faith.

Join in the fun!

Families come in all shapes and sizes, and we would love to make your family welcome. Explore the groups on this page and please contact us if you would like to know more. Some groups run during school terms only — please check the calendar if in doubt.

Every week there are 168 hours. We can only meet in church for a small part of that, and we want to equip you at home to make growing in faith together a part of everyday life.

Sunday Groups (0-11s)

Children and families are welcome to come to any of our Sunday services. Our 9.30am and 6pm are more informal and contemporary and blend family church with ‘all-age’ the first Sunday of the month. On other Sundays we gather in groups of different age ranges after a time of worship all together. Our 8am and 11.15am services are more formal and traditional in nature but you are very welcome to join these too.

  • Crèche - 0-3s

  • Ramblers - 3-4s

  • Scramblers - 4-5s

  • Climbers and Pioneers - 5-7s

  • Explorers and Trekkers — 7-11s (at both 9.30am and 6pm)

Please just turn up for these groups and register when you arrive so that the leaders know who to expect. Please allow time before the service starts to register and the welcome team will be very happy to help you with this process.

Trekkers’ Clubnite (9-11s)

Clubnites are monthly social events that are open to Sunday Trekkers (school years 5&6) and their friends. We have fun, food, friendship and explore faith together. We usually meet on the last Friday of the month at church but also enjoy trips to the ice rink.

Kids Connect (0-11s)

Our congregation is gathered from far and wide so we have regular extra events for our children and their families to get to know each other better. These could be trips to the park, visits to the museum, lunch, picnics, walks and more. The groups are age-specific.
